As the saying goes 'Whatever God is Involved is safe and secured, The meeting kicked off with a session of an Opening Charge by a Guest Speaker, Rev. Steven Olaka.
Who charged the house with the scripture "Can two walk together except they be agreed - Amos 3:3" in course of which he urged the Congress to embrace synergy, peace, love, togetherness and all that tends towards collective progress rather than focusing on Personal Benefits.
He further state that Youths are likened to Goal getters and urged members outstanding members of Association of Obio/Akpor Youths to support the new leadership in ensuring that the goals and visions of the council is achieved As he concluded with a session of Prayers for the Council, Executives and Members.
The President, Comrade Amadi Chimenem Promise thanked all for attending the day's meeting. as the Secretary read the minutes of the previous meeting.
Issues deliberated upon Includes:
*Registration of the Association with Cooperate Affairs Commission and Ministry of Youths and Social Development
*Composition of Constitution Draft Committee headed by Kelvin Amadi with the mandate to tidy up by two weeks which he assured would be ready for first reading by the congress in the month of March, 2017 Congress.
*Opening of Bank Account; The house resolved that an account be opened with Zenith Bank, Nigeria PLC.
*Issues as regards monthly dues was assigned to the Constitution draft committee for ratification by the congress in her next meeting.
*Thanksgiving/ Dedication Planning Committee was set up to be chaired by Prince Azeru Oziri with the mandate to plan and organise a Thanksgiving service at Emmanuel Anglican Church, Okoro-nu-Odo Deanery latest March 2017.
*Membership*
The house resolved that membership is open to all interested residents and indigenes of Obio/Akpor who are youths.
The President, Comrade Promise frowned at the Peace and Reconciliation Committee headed by Mr. Allwell Chinwo earlier constituted on the day of the Election as report reaching the house is that they are yet to discharge their duties.
He appointed:

*Wike Yung - Chief Security Officer
*ThankGod Chigeru - Chief Press Secretary
*Ann Weli - Women Leader
In reaction to the uproar and grievance which arose after the visit of some stakeholders and Excos of the council to O.C.J. Okocha (SAN, MFR), The President debunked the issue of Cabal and Caucus in the Association stating that he only used his Presidential office to add some members to join the Excos on the said visit.
He said every member of AOY is a stakeholder and promised that subsequent visits would be rotated amongst members.
In conclusion, Several AOB's were noted as the meeting came to a close with a brief word of prayer by Ann Weli.
